From Austria to Switzerland!

Janine holds a permanent place in RWB history as the very first Rauh Welt Begriff ever built in Austria.

The build took place on September 9, 2017, during the CS Carnight event at Wörthersee in Klagenfurt, one of the most iconic gatherings in European car culture, held every year on the shores of the lake in Carinthia.

The base car is a 1983 Porsche 930 SC Carrera, one of the most feared and revered air cooled 911s ever produced. Built between 1975 and 1989, the 930 earned its reputation through a brutal, unforgiving turbo delivery that could catch out even experienced drivers without warning.

It is a fitting canvas for the first Austrian chapter of the RWB story, a car with history and edge long before Nakai ever touched it.

What makes September 9, 2017 such a singular date in European RWB history is not just that Janine was born that day, but that she was not born alone.

RWB Austria Number Two, a white 1992 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Turbo named Khloé, was built at the exact same event, on the exact same day, by the exact same man. Two cars, two owners, one location, one Nakai-san working back to back on both builds in a single session.

Khloé wears the 930 RSR kit, RSR front bumper, RSR fenders, fender wings and a Kamiwaza double wing, a direct nod to the legendary racing evolution of the 930 Turbo that dominated endurance racing in period.

Where Janine carries the raw, era correct presence of an untouched 930 silhouette, Khloé leans into a more aggressive, race derived stance. Together they form the true origin point of RWB in Austria, sisters born on the same afternoon at Wörthersee, each carving her own identity out of the same moment in time.

The Wörthersee build day also placed Janine and Khloé in unusual company. The same CS Carnight event saw JP Performance, the German automotive YouTube channel founded by Jean Pierre Kraemer with millions of subscribers, bring a 964 through the RWB treatment in parallel. Three very different worlds of car culture, quiet Austrian enthusiasm, German YouTube spectacle, and Nakai's uncompromising Japanese craftsmanship, converged in the same hall on the same day.

Janine did not stay in Austria.

At some point after her build, she crossed the border and found a new home in Switzerland, where she now lives and is regularly seen on Swiss roads under the care of her current owner.

The car has since built its own following under that Swiss chapter, documented on channels dedicated specifically to her life on Swiss tarmac, a continuation of the story that began at Wörthersee rather than an ending.

It is a journey that mirrors something true about RWB culture in general. These cars rarely stay static. They move across borders, change hands, pick up new stories in new countries, while always carrying the single build date and the single afternoon with Nakai-san that defines them forever.

Janine's plate may read Swiss today, but her soul was forged in Austria, on the same day as her sister, in one of the most quietly significant double builds in RWB's European history.
